About Us: Mission and Vision

AWASA's mission is to end companion animal overpopulation through a broad expanded network of spay/neuter clinics and opportunities to offer low cost spay and neuter, education and outreach efforts, and shelter, foster placement and adoptions programs with a common goal of maximizing placements and minimizing euthanasia of adoptable companion animals.  

Our vision is to strengthen Southern Arizona’s network of animal welfare groups and interested individuals and present a unified voice to local, state, and national organizations who may, in turn, lend support to the region’s animal welfare community.
